Diata Health Recipe: Rich & Frothy Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a big mug while warming up vanilla almond milk on the stove. Once the almond milk is at the desired temperature (I like mine extra hot), remove it from the heat. Be careful not to let the almond milk get too hot or it will overflow!
  2. Pour almond milk into your mug with all the dry ingredients and mix together with a frother or spoon until completely smooth. I love using a frother because it quickly & evenly mixes everything together and add a nice, light froth ... and there is nothing better than an extra chocolate-y and frothy hot chocolate when it is cold outside!
  3. Add a splash of vanilla extract, stir and enjoy!
  4. Toppings: I always add two or three extra large marshmallows to my hot chocolates for a boost of collagen and an extra sweet treat. I like to let them melt in the hot chocolate for about a minute before enjoying. :)
